| GREYHOUNDS OFFICE CLOSES IT'S DOORS |
| Today at the close of the business day the door to the Greyhounds office will be closed for good. The office has been stripped down to a bare open space; computers removed, filing cabinets no longer in place, and the desks that once filled this room all removed. The occupancy license on the door is the only sign of evidence that remains that this office once belonged to the Greenville Greyhounds Professional Minor League Football Team. With a last look at the door Beeks with a look of sadness and disappointment he removed the sign that adorned the door. As Beeks put it this is the last step in finishing 3 years of business. Is the glass half empty of half full? Beeks insists the glass is half full and said when the 2007 season arrive the Greyhounds cup of success will runneth over. |
