We Morn the Loss of One of Our Own

The Greenville Greyhounds have lost a member of it's
family and a volunteer for the organization. Kesha
Fendly the daughter of Wanda Fendly another
Greyhounds volunteer passed away Monday. Kesha is
also the cousin of player Ken Neely. She had been
having complication for several years while she still
provided services as a gate attendant at the
Greyhounds games. Kesha would frequently visit
practice and help the team in any way she could. We will
miss Kesha's presence at our venues and as member of
the family.  We send of deepest and heart felt
condolences to Wanda and her family. Coach Beeks ask
that you visit a special page set aside for Kesha.

GREYHOUNDS  RACE INTO GREER
June 21, 2008  STAFF WRITER

When it comes to football in Greer the Big "G" doesn't just stand for Greer High School Football anymore,; the "G" also stands for
Greyhounds as many Greer residents came to learn that Greer is the new home of the Greenville Greyhounds Minor League Football
Team. The Greyhounds held a car wash in front of Firehouse Subs to raise funds to help get the season of to the right start for 2008.
Residents stopped in to get their cars washed and to find out more about the Greyhounds team. Overall the Greyhounds got the response
they were looking for with the crowd showing an interest in the team andthe fact that the "Home Field" was going to right in the heart of the
city at Greer City Stadium. The Greyhounds wouldlike to thenk FIREHOUSE SUBS for hosting the Greyhounds Car Wash.
