| SEASON DEDICATION We dedicate the 2008 football season to the memory of Virginia "Ginger" Collins, the mother of player Steve Collins and to the memory of Kesha Fendley herself a volunteer to the Greenville Greyhounds team and daughter of Wanda Fendley a long time volunteer of the organization as well. Kesha is also the cousin of player Ken Neely. Virginia "Ginger" Collins Born March 16, 1946 to January 31 2008 was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. Kesha Fendley Born November 22, 1983 to April 14, 2008 was diagnosed with a form of Kid's Cancer Opening day two torches will be lit up and left burning throughout the game to bring attention to family members lost to cancer. In honor of Kesha and Ginger we will help raise money to be donated to the Cancer Research Foundation and place ribbons on each players jersey to commemorate the memory of Ginger Collins and Kesha Fendley. |
