The Greenville Greyhounds Football Team announced that the team will be
conducting open try-outs for new perspective players for the 2009 minor
league football season. On the heels of re-evaluating the status of the
Greyhounds organization, the owner has decided to continue
it's operation throughout the 2009 season. We feel that with family
budgets shrinking and disposable income for family entertainment becoming
scarce we felt that we could still provide a forum where families could come
out and enjoy a sports filled Saturday afternoon without going broke. During
these times we are exploring the options of lowering our price from $7.00 down to $5.00 for
adult tickets to help make our event affordable and desireable for the entire family. Nothing is
final as far as ticket prices but the 2009 football season is definitely going to happen. We
dont know exactly how the season is going to go but we are hopefull for the future.
