South Eastern American Football League. We would like to thank
the league names for considering the Greenville Greyhounds
as a member of your league and look forward to keeping dialogue
and economy the way it is I would have to explore the best option
for my team and the SEAFL offered the best and most economical
benefit for the Greyhounds.
Saturday the Greenville Greyhounds owner met with the board of the SEAFL to determine if the Greenville
Greyhounds organization will be accepted into the SEAFL. The meeting included the SEAFL Board of Directors and
Representatives from each of the other teams that make up the South Eastern American Football League (SEAFL).
The meeting involved a informative look into the operation of the SEAFL and the
With so many leagues looking to wrangle up teams to join their perspective leagues, the Greyhounds were one the
teams being heavily sought to become the newest member of several leagues and found several of interest. After
attending two league meetings and taking a close look at another, owner James Beeks, said that he has accepted
the invitation to join the SEAFL and with roll call of teams that will make up the 2009 season, League Secretary Lisa
Kirkland announced the Greenville Greyhounds as new members of the league. Beeks said, "It's official now and
now we take the next step in preparation for the season which includes attracting a fan base that will rival any other
semi-pro team in operation. Our vision has once again been renewed for being the best minor league team in the
league.
