| PLAYERS WILL ATTEND EASLEY BRIDGE ROAD'S GRADUATION FUN DAY |
will be scheduled to appear. The office of the Greyhounds were
contacted by planning officials for Easley Bridge Road Graduation
Fun Day and asked if the would make an appearance at the event
scheduled for the end of May. Coach Beeks said that the timing is great for the kickoff of the '09 season,
it will put us in front of 400 potential fans and help us spread the word right before the season starts in
June. This event will also work in conjunction with our community efforts and give the players a chance to
see what kind of impression they can have on making a difference in a child's life. In the past I have seen
the kids change the players perspective of themselves as well, when guys are asked to sign autographs
and take pictures with the kids it really boost the players confidence and gives them that star quality
feeling.
I am looking forward to the event and the atmosphere for kids, families and the players. An event that will
be filled with festive activities. There will be food, games, the Greyhounds will have a picture booth and
the Greyhounds Passing Board available for all to enjoy. More details to be announced later.
