Who is this team? What a great recovery from the
Greyhounds last practice. Right from the outset you
could tell the team was out to make up for the
disappointing practice that had Coach Beeks showing
his displeasure with the team by fussing at the guys
when he could barely talk.
What a difference a scolding will make when the
players respect you and look to you for direction, said
coach Beeks. I got a lot of individual calls and
apologies from players and that let me know that they
care. I know that these guys have it in them to make
this happen but sometimes they are not focused and
think that we have a lot of time to get prepared but
they dont realize that time is short and the future is
uncertain when it comes to Mother Nature.
