| INDOOR STYLE FOOTBALL LANDS IN GREENVILLE, AGAIN ? |

Bi-Lo Center. The Carolina Rhinos a former Arena1 football franchise experienced some success on a
winning level and crowd response to the shorter faster paced game before calling it a season after 3
years. The lesser known Arena2 franchise the Greenville Riverhawks flew the coop after only the first
game and never stepped foot on the playing turf inside the Bi-Lo Center, this feeble attempt at bringing
indoor football back left football fans thinking Arena football was a joke. Now we have the Force coming
to town and the fact that there are new owners in place and new players the organization is faced with a
problem of not only the nostalgia that indoor football is a passing fancy that can't survive in Greenville but
also has to find an identity all of it's own. The Carolina Force will have to go farther than the 50 yards of
their playing surface to gain the confidence back of the once enthused Arena football fans of the Upstate.
