Greyhounds Management Formerly Request Field The Greyhounds management place a formal request with Greenville County School District to use one of it's facility as a home field site for it's 2008 football season. Beeks the owner and coach of the Greenville Greyhounds began searching for a home field at the beginning of the new year and approached several schools about using their facility and was getting no where. Coach Beeks said that after I was turned down and disappointed by the unwillingness of Carolina High School to consider working with our organization I decided to go to my strength and work with the upper management to make things happen for my organization. The Greyhounds organization has a reputation for being one of the best run and most respected organizations in the Upstate and I felt that this was a very important tool to use. I had high hopes that I could approach Carolina High School and get an OK to use their field especially after the fiasco they experienced last year with the Red Devils and offer them a way to make up for the end result they experienced but I was turned down without even being giving a chance. I just have to use my resources to refocus and redirect my efforts to move forward to find a field for our home games. |
