| New Coach Signed 1/18/07 TEAM REPORT Congratulations to new coach Chevis Irby who will be working with offensive and defensive linemen. Coach Irby has an extensive past with coach Beeks as teammates from another past Greenville team. Now Coach Irby has hung his cleats up and agreed to come out and help Coach Beeks put together the Greyhounds for 2007. Beeks said it is going to be great to get coaches that are willing to help put this team together and people who are willing to go about things the way he wants it done. I have talked with Coach Irby and I am looking forward to working with him this summer. He has already shown a desire to adopt to my coaching style and willing to teach my techniques to the Greyhounds players. He has already contributed to the offensive playbook, participated in a mini-camp and I know having him aboard is going to be a huge advantage for the team as we put together our game plan for a run at the CHAMPIONSHIP. Welcome aboard Coach Irby. |
