| The Greenville Greyhounds mission is to provide men and women in the community an opportunity to promote and develop football talents and leadership skills Of each individual participant that is accepted by the governing body Of the Greenville Greyhounds. The Greyhounds organization seeks to establish the organization and the players as role models and upstanding citizens to the youth Of the Upstate Of South Carolina. It is our intentions as leaders Of the communities we each represent , to deter todays youth from the usage Of drugs, gangs, and criminal engagements; instead we will refer them to the importance Of education, sports participation, community pride, and self preservation. As the Greyhounds organization grows in popularity and recognition within the community we will use our influence to instill respect, honor, sportsmanship, a stride for a healthy body and mind in each child we encounter. |

| MISSION STATEMENT |
| The GREENVILLE GREYHOUNDS are a minor league football team formed for the continuation and pursuit Of post-high school football careers. We provide an avenue for adults to continue playing football and living out their dreams Of playing in the National Football League. There is no pay associated with this level Of play and the participants play,"for the love Of the game". By providing this opportunity for these players we will open doors for other ventures that extend from education, community service, partnership ventures, and mentor programs for youth. Bringing these entities together will provide a stage for fan support to fill the stands with people to enjoy this sporting event while providing a professional setting for the players to showcase their talents. These ideas together will be as close to the NFL experience as some Of the fans and players imagination will get them. If some Of our players are fortunate enough to secure a professional career in the NFL, European Football League, AFL, or AF2 we hope that the experience gained while a Greyhounds player will warrant their support in our efforts and that they will come back to help us further our growth by sharing their experience. |

| THE GREENVILLE GREYHOUNDS WAS FORMED IN MARCH Of 2004, BY JAMES BEEKS A FORMER PLAYER WITH 12 YEARS Of MINOR LEAGUE FOOTBALL EXPERIENCE. AFTER PLAYING WITH SEVERAL ORGANIZATIONS THAT STARTED OPERATIONS AND FAILED OR DISBANDED FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER, AN OPPORTUNITY TO FORM A TEAM WITH A VISION AND A GAME PLAN BECAME AVAILABLE. ANALYZING TEAMS THAT EXISTED IN PRIOR YEARS, PLAYERS' PERSPECTIVE, MARKET VALUE, SIZE, AND INTEREST IN FOOTBALL IT WAS DETERMINED THAT WITH THE RIGHT STRATEGIC PLANNING MINOR LEAGUE FOOTBALL COULD BE A SUCCESS. THE CONCEPTION Of GREENVILLE'S NEW MINOR LEAGUE SPORTS ATTRACTION BEGAN; THE GREENVILLE GREYHOUNDS MINOR LEAGUE FOOTBALL TEAM. |
